An exciting role for an Internal account manager is available, ideally suited to a candidate with a strong background in customer service, to join the office's Internal Sales Team, reporting also to the Regional Lead. The successful candidate will proactively assist external customers, ensuring all inquiries and orders are handled promptly and satisfactorily.

Description
Key responsibilities consist of:
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers
- Strong order book management to support on-time delivery, including date and block management
- Issuing regular order book updates to our key accounts
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Handling customer queries and resolving issues promptly
- Meeting sales targets set by the management team
- Identifying sales opportunities and generating leads
- Accurate maintenance of Salesforce opportunities
- Processing quotations and orders
- Follow up quotations
- Clean order entry and handover to Supply Chain
- Reporting on sales trends and customer feedback
- Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth operations
- Staying updated on product knowledge and industry trends
Profile
A successful Internal account manager should have:
- An educational background in business, sales or a related field
- Experience in a customer service role
- Comfortable working in a challenging environment
- Team player yet self-motivated
- Ability to work on own initiative and focus to accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive approach to sales and customer service
- Experience within a customer-focused sales role is essential
- Dynamic approach with good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Commercially minded, supporting profitability
- Computer literacy - working knowledge of ERP and CRM systems (i.e. SAP, Salesforce)
Job Offer
- Basic salary of £28,000 upto £31,000 DOE
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
