Account Manager or Sales Support (ISP/Technology Sector)

This isn't an admin job - it's a crucial role connecting sales, finance, and operations, ensuring seamless customer experiences within the dynamic technology sector. You'll be the go-to person for existing clients and channel partners, providing vital support and ensuring smooth service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Directly support the sales team, enabling them to focus on new business acquisition while you maintain strong client relationships.
- Work closely with finance and delivery teams, gaining valuable experience across various business functions.
- Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers, honing your communication and interpersonal skills.
- Immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology, ideally within the ISP sector, with opportunities to work with leading vendors like Juniper, Cisco, and HPE (experience beneficial, not essential).
Duties:
- Act as the first point of contact for existing customer and channel partner inquiries.
- Prepare quotes for new business opportunities and renewals, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with finance and provisioning teams to ensure accurate billing and smooth service rollouts.
- Validate customer orders, gather missing information, and manage the handover between sales and operations.
- Chase purchase orders and overdue invoices, ensuring timely payments.
- Maintain accurate data in our CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Engage with suppliers to validate product availability and raise orders, managing the delivery of goods.
- Act as a buffer between sales and provisioning teams, resolving any issues that arise during service rollout.
What You'll Need:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Technology sector (ideally within an ISP).
- Experience using a CRM platform (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Strong proficiency in Google Apps (or Microsoft equivalent - cross-training provided).
- Advanced skills in Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas (this will be tested).
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Excellent written and spoken English with the ability to compose clear and effective communications.
- Beneficial: Experience working alongside a technology vendor (e.g., Juniper, Cisco, HPE).
