Job Title: INTERNAL AUDITOR
Contract: Full Time & Permanent
Location: Hybrid – Northwich, with national travel
Salary circa £40,000
One of the UK’s largest Property Management companies, Residential Management Group, has an opportunity for an experienced Internal Auditor, to manage the delivery of effective, high quality business assurance service across RMG, Touchstone and Derwent Facilities Management.
This role is hybrid (a mix of home and office), aligned to our Northwich Office with travel to other RMG, Touchstone and DFM offices, to meet with key stakeholders.
What is the role?
In this standalone role, you will ensure the business is compliant with the ISO standards, by undertaking internal audits across the business, within areas such as IT. The role ensures policies and business processes are kept up to date and continue to adhere to ISO standards.
You will be working with colleagues at all levels and it’s essential you’re able to adapt your communication style accordingly.
What are some of the responsibilities for our Internal Auditor?
A major focus of the role will be the management and further development of the RMG QMS and the execution of an internal audit program to support the delivery of the QMS along with additional audits.
- Maintain and develop RMG’s QMS/ISMS/EMS ensuring ISO9001, ISO27001 and 14001 compliance, with the inclusion of Touchstone and DFM.
- Manage and execute the internal audit programme and conduct independent audits of the RMG QMS, ISMS and EMS.
- Respond to and deliver compliance with all audit requests both internal and external.
- Proactively manage the oversight of audit findings, responses, and corrective actions.
- Writing clear and concise reports that provide management with assurance on the effectiveness of internal control, inform management of any issues that need addressing and make the appropriate recommendations to improve business process.
What knowledge, skills and experience will you have?
Essential:
- Experience auditing to ISO27001:2022 ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 standards with evidence of successful delivery of ISO standards.
- Strong data analytics skills and experience of using advanced Excel functions & formula and / or dedicated analytics software to undertake data analytics audit techniques.
- Expert knowledge of auditing principles and processes.
- High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues at all levels within the group and external stakeholders.
- Ability to read and understand Process Mapping
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own workload within a quarterly planning schedule and defined performance measures.
Preferred:
- Background in IT, with a good understanding of IT processes and applications.
