Job Description :

This role requires an Internal Auditor who is fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese, with an emphasis on assessing and improving the company's financial and operational procedures within the property & construction industry.

Description

  • Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management and control processes.
  • Conduct internal audits across various departments within the organisation.
  • Prepare audit findings and recommendations for presentation to management.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding sector rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with team members in Birmingham, UK and Spain or Portugal
  • Fluent communication in Spanish and/or Portuguese during audits within designated regions.

Profile

The successful Internal Auditor will have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Fully qualified within accounting or internal auditing
  • Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
  • Proven experience coming from an internal or external auditing background
  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary range of £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
