Internal Communications Manager - Niche Recruitment Ltd : Job Details

Our client is seeking a dynamic and driven Internal Communications Manager to help shape and deliver their internal communications strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to an inclusive and collaborative work environment where effective communication plays a pivotal role in connecting employees and driving organisational success. This is a 12 month maternity cover contract to start in November, a hybrid role requiring 2 days a week in the Central Swindon office.

In the role of Internal Communications Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

• Working closely with the Head of HR to drive the development and execution of an internal communication strategy to communicate purpose, values, and business priorities effectively.
• Working with stakeholders to implement communication plans and initiatives, enhancing organisation-wide understanding of ongoing projects.
• Managing the internal communications request process, ensuring timely and engaging content creation for various internal channels.
• Supporting crisis communications as well as virtual and in-person events, fostering a connected and informed workplace.
• Encouraging employee engagement by integrating feedback into communications strategy and supporting Employee Voice activities.

• Proven experience in developing and implementing internal communication strategies.
• Strong content writing skills, with a track record of using diverse communications techniques.
• Experience working within complex strategic and change programmes.
• Excellent presentation skills, both verbal and visual, tailored to audience needs.
• The ability to think strategically and influence cross-organisational communication.
