My client is looking for an Internal Communications Specialist to join their team on a 3-6 month temporary basis. This role offers the exciting opportunity to shape and drive internal communications within a large and dynamic workforce. You will develop and execute communication strategies that align with business goals, enhance employee engagement, and maintain clarity and consistency in their messaging.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and execute internal communication strategies to align with business goals and improve employee engagement.
- Manage and maintain the internal communications content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of key messages.
- Create and distribute internal communications materials, including newsletters, intranet content, presentations, and company-wide emails.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure communication efforts are consistent across departments and aligned with external messaging.
- Foster a positive company culture by delivering compelling stories and updates on company news, initiatives, and achievements.
- Support management with drafting and disseminating messages for town halls, meetings, and other internal events.
- Produce engaging written and visual content for the employee intranet, ensuring it is informative and aligned with the company’s tone of voice.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal communication efforts through employee feedback, surveys, and other metrics.
- Continuously improve communication strategies based on feedback and performance analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in internal communications or related fields.
- Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Content Management Systems (CMS) and familiar with digital communication tools and platforms.
- Experience with internal communication platforms and intranet management.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to create clear and concise messaging for diverse audiences.
