This company, based in Blackburn, offers a fantastic opportunity for a skilled finance professional to manage the statutory audit process and contribute to continuous improvement projects within the finance function. Your new roleYou will work as part of the Internal Controls team and be a critical part in helping EG Group to bring control, quality, standardisation, and improved ways of working. In your new job, you will have a significant impact on finance and the wider business, collaborating with teams, to understand issues and create solutions and process improvement opportunities. You will conduct control assessment and monitoring, in order to give assurance that risks are mitigated and report deficient or ineffective controls.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will hold a finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), with experience working in an Audit role, or with internal controls. You will need strong organisational and project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, risk and internal controls. You should have a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
