They are now looking to recruit an Internal Sales Administrator to support the business on a permanent basis. You will be joining a great North-East people focused organisation with a strong history, a fantastic leadership team who have a clear forward-thinking vision, and the role offers a secure positive future.
The Job you’ll do
- Input orders to the ERP system in a timely manner
- Dealing with customer emails and calls facilitating sales order processing
- Resolve customer and representative issues with stuck orders
- Ensure that purchase orders received are correct and match any quotation sent
- Handling inbound customer and representative sales calls
- Liaise with customers and the finance department to obtain required missing information to process orders
- Basic customer complaint administration
- Order inbox triage
- New customer set up
- Use of the Part Configurator
- Liaise across internal departments to ensure customers’ needs are met
- Support the external sales function
- Support the wider team functions and carry out other tasks where required
- Improve processes to increase operational excellence within the Technical Sales arena.
- Act as liaison between customers and other departments, ensuring accurate and timely relay of information to achieve and maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction
About You
- Previous internal sales or a customer focused role within manufacturing or engineering is essential.
- Experience working with an ERP system.
- Positive and enthusiastic with effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and projects
- Appetite for continuous learning/improvement
- Clear, articulate communication skills both oral and written, including telephone manner
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Team player who can work cross-functionally and at different levels across the organisation
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service to all stakeholders
- Attention to detail
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
