The Internal Sales Associate role is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a technical background to thrive in the industrial/manufacturing industry. The successful applicant will be part of our dynamic customer service team based in Warrington.

Description

  • Assist with customer inquiries, identify needs, and help create proposals. Qualify new customers, manage complex requests, and work with Sales/Marketing to find new business opportunities.
  • Analyse customer information, keep CRM records up to date, track sales progress, and ensure all projects are documented. Create new customer profiles and log key interactions.
  • Help execute marketing campaigns with the Marketing team and use customer data to find new leads and sales opportunities.
  • Work with teams on account plans and sales strategies, identify new opportunities, and help build strong customer relationships.
  • Provide product knowledge and solutions to customers, support internal teams, and ensure customer needs are met.
  • Follow up on quotes, track sales performance, and promote customised solutions. Keep CRM records current and prepare sales reports.

Profile

A successful Internal Sales Associate should have:

  • Ideally HNC or degree in an engineering discipline (desired).
  • Experience of working in Sales Support/Customer Service/ Account management environment preferably in commercial or B2B.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and the ability to develop commercial proposal.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and establish rapport with customers.
  • Proficient in CRM software (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team under pressure to meet deadlines.
