Hayley Group Limited have an Internal Sales vacancy to join the growing, fast-paced Online Division at Head Office in Halesowen. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.

About the role:

As our Internal Sales you will be helping to provide excellent service to our customers through the sale of goods across our product range. You will be required to provide an efficient response to incoming customer enquiries and orders, in turn building a rapport and credibility with our customers.

Working hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, plus 1 in 5 Saturday mornings.

Key responsibilities as our Internal Sales will include:

  • Receive and process incoming customer enquiries by phone and email.
  • Create quotations and sales orders.
  • Outsource non-stock items by liaising with our supply partners for price and delivery.
  • Liaise, engage, and communicate with other departments and divisions within the group.
  • Manage and maintain existing accounts
  • Attract and approach potential new business i.e. build a customer portfolio.

Skills & Attributes we're looking for in our Internal Sales:

  • The ideal candidate must be a motivated self-starter.
  • Experience of dealing with MRO products or working in an engineering/sales environment.
  • Knowledge of Industrial Lubricants, Fluid Power, Bearings, Power Transmission would be advantageous.
  • Customer-focused, driven to provide consistently high levels of service.
  • Enthusiastic, keen and willing to learn.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong level of communication and numerical skills.
  • Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work to deadlines / targets.
  • Have a valid UK driving licence.
  • Good local geographical knowledge.
  • Proven track record of success in developing sales/account growth.
