Investment Accountant - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new companyHays Senior Finance is delighted to be working with an established organisation with a fantastic reputation in the Sheffield region who are looking to add to their finance team. Your new roleAs investment accountant, you will be based out of the Sheffield office supporting the UK portfolio of work, you will be responsible for appraising, negotiating and implementing funding for business. Main responsibilities include

• Appraisal and analysing opportunities with senior stakeholders, carrying out sufficient risk investigations and preparation of reports.
• Assisting with client companies to achieve exit strategies
• Assisting with records and reporting
• Support local teams with business development
• Liasing with internal and external stakeholders to help the business hit their growth target

What you'll need to succeed

• An accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or working towards one
• Experience within an accountancy position within practice
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• A good experience of business including strategic, commercial and financial matters
