Investment Adviser - eFinancialCareers : Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Establish a client base of high net worth individuals, families, business owners,
• Foster trusted, long-term relationships using personalised service and advice,
• Understand client's investment plan and objectives to advise portfolio construction including overall asset allocation, tactical shifts and security selection;
• Monitor and adjust investments based on current market conditions;
• Manage and advise clients to invest their assets; and manage their financial needs;
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of clients' financial portfolios and give quality advice on strategic investments.
• Grow new assets by identifying and developing new business opportunities from existing client base;
• Convert non active assets into assets managed with an investment management mandate or on advisory basis;
• Follow through on the investment actions approved by clients
• Maintain proper documentation of investment actions taken on behalf of clients
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of investment products

Experience Required:

• Applicants are expected to hold the required qualifications and abide by the standards set by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)
• In the case of CISI-Level 4 Investment Advisor Diploma, applicants are expected to hold Securities and Derivatives diplomas
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Investment Advisor position
• FIA/FFA, CFA or equivalent qualifications are preferred
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, in all asset classes and investment vehicles (FX, bonds, stocks, funds, derivatives, structured products, hedge funds, PEs)
• Client and service-oriented personality with excellent selling and presentation skills, ability to communicate complex subjects at different levels
• Excellent interpersonal skills and trustworthy team player
• Excellent written and oral skills in English; additional languages are a plus
• Profound knowledge of MS Office and Bloomberg
