• The investment strategist/asset allocation strategist will be part of the research team
• This is an award winning team of over 20 equity, bond and collectives analysts
• The role reports directly to the Chief Investment Officer

• The role of the investment strategist is to propose tactical asset allocation trades between and across asset classes in order to enhance client investment performance. The role holder will work closely with the Chief Investment Officer in this aspect, as well as supporting the CIO in their wider function.

Responsibilities:

• Submitting tactical asset allocation trade proposals
• Develop and maintain forecasting scorecards and models
• Supporting the CIO in running the asset allocation process and committee
• Improving and maintaining cross asset strategy chart packs
• Provide daily updates and commentary on markets
• Support CIO in broader remit of the overall investment process

About You

• Relevant work experience within an investment management firm, wealth manager or investment bank
• Solid financial and quantitative analysis and modelling skills
• Deep knowledge of financial markets and cross asset classes
• Proficiency with Refinitiv Datastream and Excel
• Attention to detail as well as big picture thinking
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) to interact with senior stakeholders
