FPSG seek an experienced iOS Developer with expertise in Swift and Objective-C to design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create responsive, dynamic applications that offer a consistent, engaging user experience across various iOS devices.

As an iOS Mobile Applications developer your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.
• Building reusable components and libraries following best practices and coding standards.
• Implementing consistent and user-friendly UI/UX through design systems.
• Conducting code reviews to uphold standards of code quality, security, scalability, and performance.
• Optimizing application performance for smooth and efficient user engagement
• Collaborating with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to gather requirements and address technical challenges.
• Writing unit and integration tests to ensure high-quality, bug-free code, and promptly debugging and resolving issues.

To be successful iOS Mobile Developer, you'll need experience in:

• Advanced knowledge of Swift and Objective-C
• A strong practical knowledge of Xcode and iOS SDK, (inc UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation)
• Using design systems to ensure a consistent UI/UX across applications.
• Integrating RESTful APIs or GraphQL into iOS applications.
• Managing version control workflows, especially with Git.
• Ensuring compatibility across various iOS devices and screen sizes.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks like XCTest for unit and integration testing.
• Basic understanding of backend concepts, (ideally Node.js and Express)

Please note a flexible hybrid working policy is in place, however attendance in the office and/or on customer site in the greater Edinburgh location is needed, therefore a reasonable commutable distance from Edinburgh City is required.
