An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IP Lawyer to join a well-regarded firm, working directly with Partners on high-calibre, complex IP matters. This role is ideal for an experienced IP professional looking to handle a varied caseload of both contentious and non-contentious matters, supporting clients throughout the lifecycle of their IP rights – from multi-jurisdictional disputes to intricate IP agreements.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Partners to handle contentious and non-contentious IP work
• Advise clients on multi-jurisdictional dispute resolution and complex IP agreements
• Provide strategic guidance throughout the IP lifecycle, from registration to enforcement

Requirements:

• Qualified IP lawyer with exposure to both contentious and non-contentious IP matters
• Completion of the Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice is highly desirable
• Experience with one or more IP rights (patents, trade marks, designs, copyright or confidential information)
• Familiarity with pre-action correspondence, case management, witness & expert evidence, trials, R&D agreements, IP licences & assignments and IP due diligence
• STEM background or a strong interest in science and technology is particularly advantageous
