About the role
The IS Analyst for Mobile Devices within in the IS Workplace Systems team of Booker, and is responsible for delivering effective, secure and efficient mobile device management to help improve customer satisfaction and cash profit.
The role is primarily responsible for helping to lead the build, issue, support and security aspects of mobile devices issued to colleagues and users throughout the Stores, Distribution Centres and Offices of Booker, found in various locations throughout the UK. There will also be a requirement to make use of dedicated systems used to run applications, system & security policies and asset management of the devices.
Due to the nature of the role, and systems supported, it may on occasion be vital to work outside of normal business hours. In addition to this, the successful candidate will be expected to be part of an out of hours issue process, and be expected to support the business on an adhoc and reasonable best endeavours\' basis should urgent incidents arise outside of standard office hours.
Role Responsibility
- Run mobile device administration.
- Run project development budgets.
- Monitor system critical metrics.
- Generate management information reporting.
- Support delivery of the mobile device roadmap.
- Handle equipment spares availability.

- Valid Full UK Driving Licence
Experience relevant for this job:
- Good understanding of mobile & tablet devices using Android & IOS operating systems
- Knowledge of mobile device management systems
- Knowledge of wholesale industry business processes useful, not crucial
- Technical project management skills
- Service leadership skills
- Consistent delivery of results
- Ability to fix, test, repair and service equipment
