Category Manager (IT Purchasing, manager, Negotiation)London - Hybrid (some travel to other sites) £40,000 - £50,000 + 12% performance related bonus + 4% pension contribution + Company benefitsAre you a passionate Category Manager or similar with a background in IT purchasing, seeking an environment where leaders demonstrate their values in action and inspire and motivate them to do the same?In this role you will be an integral leader of a close-knit, cohesive team, leading the charge in acquiring state of the art technology solutions tailored to business needs, the company will invest in continued training and their people to enable a focus on collective success.This role would suit a Category or Procurement Manager with an IT background looking to have the freedom to be creative and drive the procurement team in streamlining a smooth process.THE ROLE:

• Delivery of transformation programmes
• Driving of innovation through leveraging IT knowledge and digital markets
• Building and establishing relationships with various stakeholders across varying levels, portraying a procurement partner
• Advise on best practices
• Hybrid working with some travel to other sites.

THE PERSON:

• Category/Purchasing Manager or similar
• Solid experience in category management with IT systems implementation and software negotiation
• Knowledge of supply chain management software
• Analysis of influential technology trends
• Willing to travel to other sites
