Start date: Beginning of Jan 205 About the RoleMy client is seeking a skilled IT Information Architect to lead on critical data and information architecture initiatives. This role involves driving SharePoint migrations, developing advanced information storage strategies, and contributing to the broader data architecture. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in Microsoft technologies and a strategic understanding of data and information management. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute large-scale SharePoint migrations, including at least three successful projects, one involving over 5 terabytes of data.
- Design and implement effective information storage systems, ensuring scalability, security, and usability.
- Develop and manage data lakes to support organisational needs and enable unstructured data searches.
- Apply a holistic approach to information architecture, addressing broader data and business challenges.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on Microsoft technologies and data management best practices.
- Support governance processes and ensure adherence to regulatory and security standards.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing insights and solutions that align with business objectives.

- Strong experience in SharePoint migrations, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft technologies including, dynamics 365 and information architecture.
- Knowledge of data lakes and unstructured data searching techniques.
- Broad understanding of data and information management, with the ability to connect technical solutions to business value.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to effectively navigate diverse stakeholder environments.
