It includes establishing user support processes with third-party partners for hardware, software, and systems issues. Ensuring the correct operation, updates, and backups of internal and cloud-based systems, along with managing user access and security, is crucial. The role also oversees the installation and configuration of IT environments and liaises with third-party suppliers to ensure cost-effective services. Keeping up with technological advancements and recommending improvements to internal systems is essential. Additionally, the role involves managing IT projects, ensuring compliance with IT security policies, maintaining thorough documentation and reporting, answering audit queries, and managing the IT budget.What you'll need to succeedEssential
