They are continually expanding to serve more communities and currently provide care to over half a million patients.Your new roleThe role involves managing the group's IT and communications infrastructure, including relationships with key partners. It includes establishing user support processes with third-party partners for hardware, software, and systems issues. Ensuring the correct operation, updates, and backups of internal and cloud-based systems, along with managing user access and security, is crucial. The role also oversees the installation and configuration of IT environments and liaises with third-party suppliers to ensure cost-effective services. Keeping up with technological advancements and recommending improvements to internal systems is essential. Additionally, the role involves managing IT projects, ensuring compliance with IT security policies, maintaining thorough documentation and reporting, answering audit queries, and managing the IT budget.What you'll need to succeedEssential

  • In-person IT user support experience.
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems and Office applications includes. Office 365.
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft Entra (Azure) and Purview for security and compliance in the MS365 environment.
  • Experience of installing, supporting and administering Windows Server operating systems.

Desirable

  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Power Apps, including Power BI and MS Forms.
  • Experience of creating and managing file sharing and data management sites using SharePoint.
  • 2+ years' experience managing an IT function (ideally in a multi-site SME).
  • Experience of working in a healthcare environment interacting with the NHS.
