Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
As the IT Manager, you will:
- Oversee the management of the entire IT environment, including MS365 cloud tenancy, network infrastructure, and end-user devices.
- Provide exceptional IT support to staff and students, ensuring a seamless technology experience.
- Coordinate with the IT engineer and external Managed Service Providers (MSP) to ensure effective IT service delivery.
- Develop and implement the IT strategy and roadmap in collaboration with the school’s senior leadership team.
- Monitor IT infrastructure performance and manage procurement, installation, and maintenance of IT equipment.
- Deliver IT projects aimed at enhancing the learning experience and improving infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with global IT policies and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the IT team.
Essential Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in managing IT systems, particularly within an educational setting.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Windows operating systems, Office 365 administration, and mobile device management (InTune).
- Solid knowledge of networking, including DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and switch/router configuration.
- Experience with audio-visual equipment in educational environments.
- Proficiency in managing supplier relationships and leading IT projects.
