Role: IT Projects Assistant
Contract: FTC till September 2025
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 FTE *depending on experience*
Location: Central London – 2 days onsite
Reports to: IT Project Lead
Key Responsibilities
- Working across various IT projects, performing research, data analysis and administrative tasks
- Coordinating Technical Assistants via diary management and responding to all related queries
- Organising and supporting with induction and ongoing training for Technical Assistants
- Collaborating with the wider project team to provide updates on Assistant availability
- Organise project meetings, send out invites, take detailed notes and serve as a point of contact for project-related queries
- Assist with in-room academic readiness checks after AV equipment installations
- Design, develop, and deliver training sessions to staff and new starts
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Experience in project coordination or administrative roles, ideally in a higher education setting
- Familiarity with hybrid learning or educational technology projects
- Familiarity with Audio Visual equipment
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, Teams and Zoom
Skills:
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond flexibly to changing demands
