We are recruiting for an IT Project Manager to join our client who are embarking on a significant period of transformation.Based in Gloucester 3 days per week and working from home for the remainder they are looking for an experience Project Manager with proven delivery of Modern Workplace technologies.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and deliver IT projects on time, within scope, and within budget, with a focus on Microsoft Modern Workplace, network implementations, and server migrations.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance.
- Lead cross-functional project teams, providing clear direction, support, and motivation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
- Communicate project status and key milestones to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with business goals.
- Conduct post-project evaluations, capturing lessons learned and implementing improvements for future projects.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Oversee the deployment and management of Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions, including Office 365, Microsoft Teams, and security and compliance features.
- Manage network implementation projects, ensuring the design, configuration, and optimisation of network infrastructure meet business requirements.
- Lead server migration projects, including planning, execution, and post-migration support for on-premises to cloud or hybrid environments.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies into existing systems and infrastructure.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, with a strong background in managing projects related to Microsoft Modern Workplace, network implementations, and server migrations.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or PRINCE2.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency with project management tools, such as MS Project, JIRA, or Trello.
