Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting an IT Project Manager to join a Public Sector organisation in Greater Manchester. The role is a 3-6-month temporary contract outside IR35, and offers full remote working.
The Role:
- Responsible for a number of projects and the associated overall quality, costs, identifying and resolving of issues and prioritising the effective delivery of the projects
- Deliver the communications to stakeholders, ensuring that employees and stakeholders at all levels are informed about the scope, impact and progress of the project
- Ensure third party plans are incorporated into designated project phases
- Ensure BAU arrangements are maintained until the transition to the new way of working
- Manage reporting requirements through various methods including MIS
- Identify funding both in the short and long term, looking at methods and identifying options
The Person:
- Qualified to Prince 2 Practitioner/Professional level or equivalent
- Experience of working in and managing complex projects, with a range of stakeholders
- Excellent level of communication/presentation skills
- Experience of risk assessment and management within a project environment
- Experience of managing complex budgets with varied reporting requirements
