Job Description :

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced technology Project Manager with recent experience with the eFront platform (from Blackrock) to join a leading investment management firm. This role sits within the Strategic Delivery team and focuses on driving key strategic initiatives, including technology and process transitions within Investment Fund Accounting. (You won’t be doing NAV calculations, but you will need to know why they’re important……)

Role Overview

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring seamless execution from planning and design to implementation and closure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including fund accountants, technology teams, and compliance specialists, to successfully deliver projects that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely execution.
  • Develop and oversee detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and accountability.
  • Provide regular project (RAID) updates to senior stakeholders and management.
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and resource allocation to drive successful project completion.
  • Support the implementation and integration of fund accounting technology solutions, including system upgrades and process improvements.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop workflows and documentation to support process improvements and new implementations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of project management experience in the investment management sector.
  • Strong knowledge of fund accounting principles, including NAV calculations, financial reporting, and compliance.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) & ideally AzDo Boards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, Clarity, HP Quality Centre).
  • Experience managing complex technology transformation projects within private assets/ private markets, to include one of Private Equity, Private Credit or Real Estate
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Qualifications

  • PMP, PMI, Prince2, or Agile certification.
  • Experience with Microsoft AzDo Boards.
