In this assistant support role, your key responsibilities will be to:
- Assist the Install team with Epos system builds.
- Visit client sites to repair/fault find and swap out IT/Epos hardware.
- Programme Epos applications to clients' individual requirements.
- Provide our clients with operational advice and support via telephone, internet, and email.
- Provide our clients with training, both on-site and remotely via telephone and internet.
- Assist with on-site installations of new systems.
- Provide "On Call" out of hours/weekend support cover (on a rota basis).
Upon successful completion of our Apprentice Programme, you will be on your career path to success within the technology sector.
Desirable experience, skills, and personal qualities:
- Ideally should hold a driving licence or be working towards one.
- Ideally should have previous IT knowledge, e.g. school/college qualifications
- A general interest and knowledge of PC computing and Windows Operating Systems (although full training will be given).
- Familiarity/knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, & Outlook.
- Confidence - you should be resilient and able to think independently.
- A keen interest in learning new skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills - confidence in communicating with customers.
- A "can-do" attitude.
- Ability to travel, including working away from home on occasion.
Key Details:
- Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for a permanent position upon successful completion.
- Working Hours: Normal working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. However, during the initial 3-month phase, working hours will be reduced to 16 hours per week, spread over 4 days.
- Holiday Entitlement: 28 days per year.

Future Prospects:
