IT Support Engineer - Robert Webb Recruitment : Job Details

We're supporting a small business with offices down South, who are growing their presence up North. Due to growth, their IT Director is looking for an exceptional IT professional to join their team. It'll be a varied role, hands on, as well as remote support. The business have exciting plans for 2025, so you'll be joining at the best possible time to be part of their growth.

Location: Hybrid role split between home, and their Cheshire office (will occasionally be required to travel to Southern offices)

Salary: £30-40k depending upon experience

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9-5.30pm (but with flexibility to work outside these hours when required)

What you'll be doing day to day;

• Providing IT support for all hardware and software in the business (both on-site and remotely)
• 365 admin
• Dealing with new starter IT equipment as well as leavers
• Dealing with 1st/2nd line IT support for colleagues
• Working closely with IT Director on future IT projects
• Networking and diagnosing issues
• Cyber security and managing incidents

This role is a hands on IT position and you'll be supporting employees remotely as well as on-site locally. The company are growing, so there will be a lot of 'hands on' IT work as you'll be setting up new office space, as well as working on larger projects.

• 1st/2nd line IT Engineer experience
• MS SQL experience
• MS Azure experience
• ERP Systems experience
• Confident with supporting employees remotely
• Enjoys working in a role which will offer variety as the business continues to grow
• Ideally some .net experience (this isn't essential at this stage but would be helpful!)
• Confident communicator, calm under pressure and a good problem solver
• A friendly and approachable disposition
• Flexible to travel on occasion to their Southern offices
• Ability to work hybrid
