Day-to-day responsibilites of an IT Support Engineer:
- Providing 2nd and 3rd line support for both the Wembley and Milton Keynes office.
- Linux / Unix Systems Administration - Redhat and Centos.
- Provide application support including - installation / configuration / upgrading and troubleshooting both in person and remotely.
Required Skills and Qualifications for an IT Support Engineer:
- Good understanding of ITIL mothodology - any certifications are beneficial.
- You must have a strong knowledge of both VMWare and SQL Servers.
- Strong background in Linux / Unix and Windows.
- Knowledge of PCI and CPP standards.
- Experience with Automation and Deployment Tools - MDT, WDS, infrastructure as code etc.
