 IT Support Engineer
  • Annual Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
  • Location: Belfast
  • Job Type: Full-time

We are excited to offer an opportunity for an IT Support Engineer to join a leading IT Managed Service Provider based in Belfast. This role is ideal for someone passionate about providing IT solutions and eager to engage in a variety of projects across Northern Ireland. As part of our team, you will support existing infrastructure and consult on network security, productivity, and M365 solutions.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support primarily through PSA RMM tools.
  • Offer infrastructure consultancy focusing on network, security, and productivity including M365.
  • Participate in project work as required, including server upgrades, Windows 11 rollouts, and cybersecurity improvement remediations.
  • Work closely with the Account Manager to fulfil client needs and adapt to their changing requirements.
  • Occasionally travel to customer sites across Northern Ireland to provide hands-on support.
  • Engage in continuous learning to keep up with clients’ changing needs and technological advancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Strong working knowledge of M365 (Identity, Intune) and Secure Modern Office.
  • Experience with Windows Server Administration including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File & Print.
  • Familiarity with Windows Desktop rollout and support.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of describing problems and working through solutions.
  • Good documentation discipline and ability to follow and improve SOPs and policies.
  • Team-oriented, with a willingness to ask for help and share knowledge.

Desirable:

  • M365 certification.
  • Experience in an MSP environment, familiar with PSA ticketing and working with multiple clients.
  • Knowledge of Azure IaaS, VMware, Veeam, Citrix, Aruba Networking, Sophos FW, Teams Voice, and vulnerability management.
