IT Support Engineer - Schools - vertex-it-solutions : Job Details

IT School Engineer - Covering Eastborune and the surrounding areas - Must have previous experience in schools and current enhanced DBS or able to qualify for one.

We are partnered with a highly reputable managed service provider who specialise in the education sector. Together, we are recruiting for a highly skilled IT Support Engineer on a contract basis. This will be covering one of five schools every day in the Sussex region.

General duties include:

• Provide 1st & 2nd line support to all users of technology
• Maintaining each school’s network, including management of daily backups, anti-virus tools and software licenses
• To install software as directed and in accordance with licensing legislation
• To perform installations of peripheral devices
• Performing active directory

To qualify:

• Must have good communication skills
• Must have extensive experience in the above technologies
• Must have 1+ years experience in unique education software i.e SIMS
• Must have a full drivers' license and car
• Must have an enchance DBS
