Venn Group IT Support Consultant SC Cleared 3 month+ Contract Hybrid – Dorset Outside IR35 (£400-£500 DOE)

Our client urgently require an IT Support Engineer to join them on a long-term term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join the team working on a crucial defence programme.

Responsibilities:

• Work on specifically built and build new laptops when required, ensuring that all laptops are secure to OS level, configuration of VPN and installing MDM
• Provide infrastructure guidance and support on upcoming builds and projects
• Install, maintain and support several defence applications
• Creation of Users in Active Directory

Skills Required:

• Experience working on MoD Communications and Information Services (CIS)
• Knowledge of Linux architectures and use of CLI
• Experience building, managing, installing and securing laptops/machines
• Understanding of AI use cases and LLM functionality

Desired Skills:

• Kubernetes experience
• Networking experience (CCNA Level)
• Cloud Architecture (Azure/Oracle)
• Ex-signals/Ex-RAF Technical Support would be highly desirable
