IS Support Specialist - Manufacturing

Salary: Circa £40,000

Location: London (North)

Are you an experienced IS Support Specialist looking for a new challenge within the manufacturing industry? We are a forward-thinking company seeking a driven individual to provide 2nd/3rd Line Support across two sites in the UK. If you’re someone who enjoys troubleshooting and working with a range of technologies, this IS Support Specialist role is for you!

In this role, you will be responsible for managing systems in a Windows/Linux environment, providing virtualisation and networking support. This IS Support Specialist position requires a proactive individual who can take ownership of incidents and work well under pressure.

Skills required for the IS Support Specialist:

• Strong troubleshooting ability for complex technical challenges
• Experience in Application Support (installation, configuration, upgrades)
• Expertise in VMWare and SQL Server
• Background in Windows and Linux/Unix systems (RedHat, CentOS preferred)
• Advanced knowledge of Networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Firewalls)
