IT Systems and Infrastructure Manager Coventry£60,000

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager with a proven track record in technology management, team leadership, and overseeing complex systems. The ideal candidate will drive performance, enhance team capabilities, and maintain high customer satisfaction. The IT Systems and Infrastructure Manager responsibilities:

• Establishing performance goals and providing ongoing feedback, coaching, and development to enhance team performance and capability.
• Overseeing IT End User Services, Computer Operations, Data Centre Services, and Hardware Support Services to maintain customer satisfaction and ensure quality standards, adherence to processes, policies, and service level agreements.
• Providing technical expertise (both tactical and operational) on the evaluation, selection, implementation, and maintenance of information systems.
• Developing strategic plans and practices that support integrated and progressive infrastructure and operations to meet current and future business requirements.
• Driving automation in operational tasks to improve efficiency and traceability of activities.
• Partnering with Cyber Security leadership to develop, implement, and manage IT controls, policies, procedures, practices, and processes.
• Researching and implementing best practices for infrastructure services, including proven infrastructure methodologies, service management processes, and operational support.

Required skills for the IT Systems and Infrastructure Manager:

• Substantial managerial experience in technology, team leadership, and managing complex systems.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams effectively and collaboratively in a mid-sized or large organization.
• The ability to focus on multiple products and communicate effectively within your team and with other key stakeholders.
• Excellent innovation skills and a strong commercial sense to ensure returns on investments made into technology.
• Exposure to broad and diverse technology stacks - Microsoft 365, Azure, HP Servers, PDA's, Zebra Printers, Sonicwall.
• Proven experience in managing complex projects and critical, highly reliable systems.
• Experience in managing budgets and forecasting project costs.
• Experience in change management would be an advantage.
