IT Teacher - Reed : Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated IT Supply Teacher to deliver BTEC IT courses to Year 12 and Year 13 students, including the Extended Certificate and Diploma. This role is ideal for someone who is available to work part-time with a flexible schedule, starting from January 2025 until the May half term.

• Teach BTEC IT to Year 12 and Year 13 students, covering both the Extended Certificate and Diploma.
• Prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons that meet curriculum standards.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic development.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and progress.
• Participate in departmental meetings and teacher training workshops.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification in IT or a related field.
• Experience teaching BTEC IT or similar qualifications at the secondary level.
• Strong understanding of the curriculum and requirements for the Extended Certificate and Diploma.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students.
