Job Title: I.T Technical Trainer– Bootcamps Overview:We're seeking a Technical Training Specialist to deliver technical training for the Bootcamp Learning Project. This role involves delivering training primarily online, with some hybrid sessions (online and classroom) at the provider's London location. Collaborating closely with the Bootcamp Project Director and Senior Curriculum and Learning Manager, the trainer will play an active role in enhancing curriculum content, resources, and teaching methodologies. What you'll be doing?
- Inspire and motivate learners throughout their development journey.
- Create an engaging learning environment that accommodates diverse learning styles.
- Adapt training methods and resources to suit an online learning setting.
- Develop and implement agile lesson plans and schemes of work for short courses.
- Regularly review and update curriculum content, keeping materials current and relevant.
- Maintain knowledge of Ofsted requirements within the Education and Inspection Framework to achieve a high level of teaching.
- Record and report activity to management in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with Sales and Career Support teams to enhance learner employability.
- Oversee learner progress and development within the Bootcamp programme.
- Design effective training plans to meet candidate needs and improve job readiness.
- Position the organisation as a high-quality training provider in the industry.
- Adhere to best practices in Health and Safety, Safeguarding, and Equal Opportunities.
What they're looking for?
- Possess a PGCE or Certificate in Education.
- Certified to teach CompTIA A+ (required).
- Ability to teach Windows 10/11 and Windows 365.
- Certifications in AZ900, SC900, DP900, MS101, and MD101 are advantageous.
- Microsoft Certified Trainer status is desirable.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Proven record of excellence in both remote and face-to-face training delivery.
- Competence in creating assessment materials for bootcamp and apprenticeship programmes.
- Demonstrated success in developing processes that improve teaching quality.
- Ability to maintain curriculum content to ensure it remains current and innovative.
- Awareness of Safeguarding issues.
- Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, comfortable with change management.
- Highly motivated, persuasive, and patient.
