ITAM & Configuration Management Consultant - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new roleAs an ITSM Consultant specialising in Configuration Management, you will lead the design and implementation of Service Configuration Management practices. Your responsibilities will include defining the mission, roadmap, goals, and objectives of the practice, engaging and managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring consistent execution of the service across the organisation. You will also be responsible for establishing data models, CI discovery strategy, organisational design, tooling selection, and supplier engagement. What you'll need to succeed

• Excellent understanding of ITIL Best Practice (V3 / ITIL4).
• ITIL Foundation certification as a minimum; advanced Service Management certifications (e.g., ITIL4 Create, Deliver and Support) are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of the role of Service Configuration Management within enterprise organisations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at different levels.
• Proven leadership skills and experience in designing and establishing a Service Configuration Practice.
• Experience working within an operational environment with constantly changing timescales and requirements.
• Good understanding of enterprise Service Management solutions and underpinning CMDB data models and frameworks.
• Experience with Service Management software and capabilities related to service mapping and integration with discovery software.
