Java Software Engineer - Spectrum IT Recruitment : Job Details

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Java Software Engineer to join a highly reputable company whose software products are used by 1000's of customers across the UK. Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key contributor in a Java, Spring, AWS, and Microservices environment.
• Lead the redevelopment of existing products while enhancing functionality.
• Collaborate with offshore teams and engage with senior internal stakeholders.
• Adhere to DevOps best practices.
• Ensure compliance with SOLID principles.

Technical Requirements:

• 3+ years of software development experience
• Commercial experience with Java, Spring and AWS
• Good commercial understanding of Agile and DevOps
• Full software development life cycle (SDLC) including testing
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker is preferred
• Previous experience transitioning from.Net to Java is beneficial
