We're excited to invite an enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages teacher to join our dedicated team in Preston! This role presents a fantastic opportunity to engage and inspire KS3 and KS4 students. Enjoy a competitive daily pay rate between £155 and £230, based on your experience, qualifications, and teaching expertise.

In this role, you will design and implement engaging lesson plans that promote linguistic proficiency and cultural awareness. Your responsibilities include assessing student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs, and creating a supportive classroom environment that encourages communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating a positive learning environment through professionally planned lessons and classroom displays
  • Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience in children
  • Having control over the whole class and maintaining discipline
  • Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in the structure
  • Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
  • Set homework and mark promptly
  • Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
  • Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of the curriculum
  • Punctual and reliable

  • Managing behaviour of pupils whilst undertaking work to ensure a constructive environment
  • Strong classroom management
  • Motivated and enthusiastic demeanour
  • Use imagination and innovation to enhance learning experience

Personal Attributes:

  • You will have a genuine passion for teaching
  • Experience up to key stage 3/4
  • QTS/PGCE equivalent
  • Be flexible and committed
