Joinery Shop Supervisor – Temp to Perm Opportunity! South Birmingham £14.50 - £15.25 per hourPertemps are excited to be recruiting for a leading joinery and woodworking company specialising in high-quality custom doors, cabinetry, and architectural woodwork.  We are seeking a skilled and experienced Joinery Shop Supervisor to join the dynamic and effective team.Job Description:As a Joinery Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our joinery shop. Your role will involve managing a team of skilled assemblers and machining operatives, ensuring the production of high-quality products, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.Key Responsibilities:-          Supervise and coordinate the activities of joinery shop personnel, ensuring tasks are completed     efficiently and to a high standard.-          Plan and schedule work to meet production targets and deadlines.-          Monitor and maintain quality control throughout the production process.-          Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of joinery staff.-          Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.-          Manage inventory, including ordering materials and supplies as needed.Requirements:-          Proven experience as a Joinery Shop Supervisor or similar role.-          Extensive knowledge of joinery techniques, tools, and materials.-          Strong leadership and team management skills.-          Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.-          Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Benefits:-          Competitive hourly rate of £14.50 - £15.25-          Monday to Thursday - 08:00 - 17:00 and Friday 08:00 - 15:15 on a Friday.-          Opportunity to work with a talented and dedicated team.-          Career growth and development opportunities.-          Positive and supportive work environment.How to Apply:If you are a skilled joinery professional with a passion for excellence and leadership, we would love to hear from you.
