My client specialises in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), offering their services to a wide range of industries with a keen interest in the legal sector. They are seeking a talented individual with experience in journalism to join their creative team. Your new roleYou create the news! As a Journalist within their team, you'll conduct in-depth research and investigations on various topics relating to their client's websites. This involves Freedom of Information requests, interviews, and surveys. You'll collaborate with the team to identify potential campaign ideas, conduct research, compile and analyse results, and present them to the media through press releases, pitches, and phone calls. A key aim is to acquire links to their websites and articles, liaising with journalists and editors to get these links included. What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role (PR or journalism).
• A degree in journalism or an NTCJ qualification is essential, along with a good grasp of journalistic writing and media law.
• Attention to detail is crucial. You'll research and analyse raw data and write complex and technical content that requires a sharp editorial eye.
• Experience in research and scrutinising data sources is essential. You'll demonstrate initiative and devise and propose your own campaign strategies.
• Driven, ambitious, and keen to succeed.
