Broad hands on role as a Junior Accountant / Assistant Accountant, working for a well established financial services business based in the City area of London. Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office.

Description

Reporting to the Financial Controller, working in a team of 3, your responsibilities include:

• Receive and process all purchase invoices
• Raising sales invoices
• Posting credit card receipts
• Weekly bank reconciliations in multi currencies
• Calculate and submit monthly VAT return.
• Posting journals, accruals and prepayments
• Assist with month end management accounts preparation including balance sheet reconciliations
• Support annual audits and other financial compliance.
• Ad hoc finance projects
• Support with Xero integration process

Profile

You must have strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and banking as well as being able to assist with various month end tasks.
