Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, for our global operations.
- Record and maintain daily financial transactions in alignment with company policies, accounting standards, and international financial regulations.
- Support the month-end and year-end financial close processes, ensuring all accounts are reconciled and discrepancies are addressed promptly.
- Manage reconciliation of international bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts, ensuring global financial consistency.
- Play a role in overseeing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring that international invoices and payments are processed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Organise and maintain financial records across multiple regions, ensuring data integrity and streamlined reporting.
- Collaborate with senior accountants on internal and external audits across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with global audit requirements.
- Assist in preparing tax filings and supporting documentation for both local and international tax obligations.
- Stay informed on global accounting regulations and industry best practices, ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and any regional accounting requirements.
- Take on additional accounting-related tasks to support the finance department's evolving needs in a fast-paced tech environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Solid understanding of core accounting principles, including GAAP or IFRS, with a focus on global financial practices.
- Experience with financial reporting and general ledger functions in a multinational context.
- Basic knowledge of international tax regulations and procedures.
- Proficiency with ERP systems or financial software (experience with platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus).
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced, tech-driven, and global environment.
