Junior Accountant - Bennett & Game Recruitment : Job Details

Bennett and Game has the pleasure of working with a well-established Accountancy Practice located in North London, who are now seeking a Junior Accountant to join them on a full-time, permanent basis. The firm are offering a salary up to 30k.

The practice is an ACCA approved training practice, making it suitable for candidates who are looking to progress their career within the Accountancy Practice sector.

• Bookkeeping duties for a variety of clients including VAT returns, bank reconciliations, monthly management reports and the possibility of visiting clients regarding bookkeeping matters
• Good knowledge of accounting software's like xero, QuickBooks, sage and bright pay
• Preparing working papers on Excel to assist with accounts
• Processing weekly/monthly payroll, issuing payslips and RTI submission and completion of autoenrollment submissions.
• Preparation of sole trader/partnership accounts
• Good communication skills and maintaining a strong relationship with clients.
• General office duties

• 1-2 years' experience working in an accountancy practice
• A finance degree or a will be someone working toward attaining an accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA)
• Experience in a practice setting will be preferable
• Clear and professional written and spoken communication.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel

• Salary between £22,500 - £30,000 (dependant n skills and experience)
• 9am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday

28 days annual leave including bank holidays
