A leading and innovative retail company is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual eager to advance their career in accounting while receiving comprehensive study support for AAT Level 4 and ACCA qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with monthly and year-end financial processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and relevant documentation
• Support the preparation of tax returns, VAT returns, and other compliance filings
• Assist with bank reconciliations, cash flow management, and budgeting
• Help manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring smooth transactions
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records and ledgers

Ideal Candidate:

• Currently studying AAT Level 3 or equivalent, or working towards AAT Level 4
• Motivated to pursue the ACCA qualification and grow within the accounting field
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with accounting software (experience with specific tools a plus)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments
• Previous accounting experience is advantageous, but not required
