Our client a leading Accountancy practice, based in the NW6 postcode, London, are currently looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a solid foundation in an accounting practice while working with a diverse portfolio of clients and working with some market leaders.

Your role will involve

• Bookkeeping & Receipt Analysis
• VAT Returns: Prepare and submit VAT returns with confidence.
• Ledger Maintenance: Manage sales and purchase ledgers efficiently.
• Account Preparation Assistance: Support in preparing accounts for sole traders and limited companies.
• Bank Account Management: Assist in running bank accounts and gaining approval for payments.
• Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with major stakeholders.
• Working alongside various teams to uphold best practises.

Experience you will have:

• Educated to A-level/Degree
• Experience of working in accountancy
• Currently studying towards or willing to pursue an accounting qualification
• Adaptable, hard-working, and loyal.
• Great attention to detail.
• Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• IT literate, eager to master key accounting software.
• Positive attitude, flexible, and committed to confidentiality.
