Junior Accounts Assistant- entry level

Location: Bolton

Salary: circa £17,000- £22,000

We are currently recruiting for a Junior Accounts Assistant to join an established, people focused business based in Bolton. Due to their current growth and expansion, they are looking for someone to join their strong finance team who is keen to embark on a career within accounts/finance.

The ideal candidate will be a college leaver or similar, and some office experience is highly desirable, however full training will be given. You must be hard working, conscientious, with a positive can-do attitude. The company will offer a study package to continue with or begin AAT qualification if desired.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure invoices are received, registered and passed to the correct department in a timely manner
• File all the invoices daily
• Ensure GRN's are entered accurately
• Process GRN's, pass any queries to the relevant department in order for them to be resolved.
• Maintain good relationships with other areas of the business so any queries can be dealt with before issues arise
• Process invoices as accurately as possible, querying any price differences to orders and ensuring the correct cost codes are used
• Maintain the accounts email, ensuring the inbox is kept up to date

Skills & Attributes:

• Basic Excel / Outlook skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products / internet and email
