Junior Buyer - Hexadex Group Ltd : Job Details

Our Teconnex site is a Global manufacturing business, with sites, in Europe, India and North Americas, Part of the Hexadex group of companies.

We have created a new opportunity for a graduate buyer to join our purchasing department based in Keighley, west Yorkshire. This is a developing role to support the day-to-day activities for our purchasing function.

Summary of duties

• Support the purchasing administration initially of orders, documents.
• Purchasing of materials, to include stainless steel related products, and relevant engineering materials, nuts and bolts.
• Maintaining systems, prices, utilising our ERP systems and Excel documents to generate reports and data.
• Monitor suppliers’ contracts and update information.
• Work closely with other internal stakeholders, for indirect and direct parts, materials and services.

About you:

• Ideally a business studies Graduate, with a keen interest in working within a purchasing or procurement role.
• Or has exposure to purchasing, ideally within a volume manufacturing organisation and keen to further develop skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of MRP / ERP systems would be an advantage
• good attention to detail and organised
• Clear communication skills both verbally and in writing
