An exclusive opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Legal Associate to join a well-established financial services and insurance team. This role, based in London, will involve providing comprehensive commercial, corporate, and regulatory legal advice and support to the team on a fixed term contract (FTC) basis for 9 months.

Description

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of (re)insurance and broader international agreements
• Providing legal advice to stakeholders within the business on key strategic initiatives, data protection, and new product/service development projects
• Counselling business units on day-to-day legal issues and risk management
• A broad array of ad hoc legal advice, acting as point of contact for the organisation where needed

Profile

The successful candidate will be:

• Qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales, NQ - 3 PQE
• Experienced as a broad Commercial lawyer
• Ideally experienced in the Financial Services / Insurance industry
• Excellent at legal drafting
• Commercially aware

Job Offer

• Base salary up to 65,000 GBP annual equivalent depending on candidate experience
