Position: Junior Commercial Insurance Broker

Location:London, E2 7JQ

Hours: Full Time

Salary:£30,000-35,000 + profits bonus

Townsend McCormack Insurance Brokers has been providing Insurance Broking Services since 1991. We are a family-run company that encourages a constructive, and amiable working environment.

In this role, you will help us to grow the book of business as well as manage existing clients’ needs.

You will be working with our small team; you will enjoy this diverse role in developing opportunities. Training is available to brokers with knowledge of the commercial insurance market.

We will allow you to use your initiative and to adopt your own style in finding solutions whilst providing resources and assistance where necessary.

This is a full-time role, with remote working and London placing which provides for varied experience.

• 2 years + UK Commercial General Insurance experience
• Computing skills (Microsoft programs/Durell)
• Professional approach to clients
• Honest and industrious attitude

What will your role as a Commercial Insurance Broker look like?

• Training on the account to be provided
• The account needs to be placed, administered and generally run by the broker
• The support to your colleagues and their support to you is aimed at shared solutions to team problems. A collaborative attitude is encouraged
• Trading growth, underwriter relationships and client relations will be fostered by the candidate as they see fit, in a convivial constructive atmosphere
