The Real Estate Team manages a broad range of residential and commercial property matters, including Landlord and Tenant issues, Construction and Development, Asset Management, Utilities, Conveyancing, and Property Finance.

The role:

As a key member of the Real Estate Gatwick team, you will engage in various commercial real estate, residential investment, and secured lending transactions. This position is within a commercial real estate team, offering exposure to a diverse range of matters, including residential investment, with a focus on secured lending transactions for lenders on their panel. Experience in commercial property will also be important, encompassing freehold and leasehold acquisitions, disposals, and property investment portfolio management for retail, industrial, and office premises. The team represents lenders, landlords, tenants, and non-profit charity organisations.

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with experience in Commercial Real Estate.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide commercially-focused advice to clients.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and provide support to other fee-earners as appropriate, managing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Competent IT skills.
