I'm delighted to be working exclusively with an established company based in Oxford to recruit for an immediately available Junior Credit Controller! This would be a great opportunity for a junior candidate/Finance graduate looking for that first step in the door/to develop more skills!

Client Details

The client is well established in their field. They are growing their Finance team so following the temporary period, there may be a permanent role available, and the potential to move to another area within the Finance department! Please note this is a mostly remote role (1 day a month in the Oxford office after training).

Description

The Junior Credit Controller will:

• Carry out credit checks
• Manage and collect debts from company debtors
• Setting up terms of credit for new clients
• Negotiate payment plans
• Respond to client inquiries

Profile

The Junior Credit Controller will be/have:

• Some experience in a Credit Control/Finance position is desirable but not essential. A relevant qualification eg degree in accounting and finance will also be considered
• Confidence to collect debts by phone and email
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Computer literate and experience of using Finance system/s
• Good Excel skills (spreadsheets)
• Immediate availability
